We invest engineering

Most engineering firms bill hours. We also take equity or royalties. When we believe in a product, we build it alongside you and share the risk, and the upside.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps. One accountable team.

01

Feasibility &
Applied Research

We validate the core idea before anything is built. Mathematical modeling, multiphysics simulation, algorithm design, and an honest answer about whether the physics and the economics close.

02

Proof of
Concept

We turn fragile benchtop setups and rough algorithms into robust, integrated prototypes and working software that demonstrate real-world function to investors, partners, and first customers.

03

System Integration &
Product Development

Mechanics, electronics, optics, and software packaged into one cohesive, manufacturable, maintainable product, built and tested by one team.

04

Path to
Market

Design for manufacturing, supplier qualification, deployment architecture, and regulatory readiness (CE, MDR, ISO) engineered in from day one, not bolted on at the end.

WHO THIS IS FOR

When the opportunity is real, but the product does not exist yet.

01 / RESEARCH

Researchers & inventors

You have IP or a working principle, but no path to a product. We take it from paper to prototype to market as co-founders, not contractors.

02 / INDUSTRY
Companies with a product gap

You know your market and your customers, but you lack the deep-tech team to build the product, i.e. the hardware, the software, or both. We become that team, compensated partly in royalties on what we build together.

03 / DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Domain experts without a technical co-founder

You know a market or a physical problem better than anyone, but you can’t build the machine or the software that solves it. We become the technical co-founder you’re missing, with a lab and a team behind us. Bring the domain expertise and we will bring the engineering.

The deal, plainly

We share the risk because we want to share the result.

Every deal is different, but the principle is the same. We lower your upfront cost by taking part of our compensation later, through equity or royalties instead of full fees today. Typical structures pair a reduced fee with a royalty on product sales, or equity in a jointly founded spinoff. We only propose this when we believe the product will succeed, because our incentive is the product working, not the hours billed.

ROYALTY MODEL
Reduced fees plus a royalty on product sales.
SPINOUT MODEL
Reduced fees plus equity in a jointly founded company.

PROOF

Built the same way.

Two of our ventures started exactly this way. An intelligent full-body training device, now being commercialized through a spinoff in which Lysitron is a founding shareholder. And CROS, a cable routing optimization software we are developing under a royalty agreement. The model is not a pitch we are trying on you. We have already run it ourselves.

ONE HONEST ANSWER, BEFORE YOU ASK

“You're a small team with your own ventures, will mine get attention?”

Fair question, and the honest answer is: we take on few partnerships, precisely so that every one of them gets a committed team. Venture engineering only works if the product ships — our equity is worthless otherwise — so we say no to more ideas than we say yes to. If we propose a partnership, it’s because we’ve already decided we can staff it properly.

Tell us what you want to build.

A one-hour conversation costs nothing. Bring the idea; we’ll tell you honestly whether it can be engineered, and whether we’d bet on it with you.
