The people behind the machines
Lysitron turns hard physics into working products. Ηardware, software, and the intelligence that connects them.
OUR STORY
Built to close the gap between principle and product.
Lysitron was founded in 2026 by three NTUA engineers, two mechanical and one electrical, who kept seeing the same gap: brilliant ideas that die between the lab and the market, because turning a working principle into a working product is a different discipline from either research or manufacturing.
We built Lysitron to close that gap, and we structured it as a venture engineering firm. We do not only build products for clients, we co-own the products we believe in. Our compensation pairs a reduced fee with equity or royalties, which means our incentive is simple: the product has to work, and it has to sell.
We started Lysitron in 2026, but the experience we brought into it goes back much further. Our engineers have shipped CE-marked medical devices, worked on EU Horizon projects and semiconductor packaging, and built everything from ex-vivo organ support systems to deep learning pipelines. Today, half of what we build is software and half is hardware, and we run our own ventures alongside our client work. Simulation, code, electronics, and prototyping all happen under one roof in Athens.
One roof. From simulation to prototype.
Simulation, design, code, electronics, and prototyping all happen together in our Athens lab. It keeps the people who make the decisions close to the machines, the test data, and the work that turns an idea into a product.
THE TEAM
One integrated team.
Mechanical, electrical, software, and applied research engineers working as one integrated product team.
