Optimizing complex non-contact magnetic transmission systems while eliminating the massive computational time required by Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Our Solution
A robust design and optimization toolset for magnetic geartrains:
- Fast Modeling: Developed a proprietary analytical model in MATLAB based on Maxwell equations, calculating torque 125x faster than standard FEA while maintaining high accuracy.
- Simulation: Conducted comprehensive validation using Ansys Maxwell to map torque outputs across every possible combination of rotor angles and geometries.
- Dynamics: Analyzed transient states (rev-up/rev-down scenarios) to characterize transmission error envelopes, aiming to minimize system vibrations and magnetic slip.
