The Challenge
Bridging the gap between personalized biomechanical engineering and clinical efficacy to deliver tailored orthopedic care—spanning from complex surgical implants and cellular-level bone research to non-invasive corrective devices.
Our Solution
A multi-faceted approach to orthopedic engineering:
- Implants: Designed patient-specific titanium femur implants based on CT scan, optimized via FEA for gait loads.
- Research: Developed a customized compression testing device to apply variable mechanical loads to cell cultures. This enabled the in vitro evaluation of how different stress conditions stimulate osteoblast differentiation and proliferation, advancing our understanding of load-induced bone regeneration.
- Wearables: Developed custom-fit correctors with proprietary algorithms for Hallux Valgus using 3D scanning and printing, validated through patient trials.
